Company

db Sound was founded in 1989. Their first project was an interactive training system for the US Army, through Philips Magnavox. Other projects included: interactive kiosks, a mini-theater, and a submarine simulation for the Scripps Institution of Oceanography Aquarium Museum; a multimedia executive information system for Warner Brothers Studios; the Xplora I CD-ROM for recording star Peter Gabriel; and a prototype interactive TV channel for US West.

db Sound became DecisionBuilders, Inc. in 1997. A multimedia executive decision support system for  Paramount Pictures was followed by information management projects for American Capital Strategies and the US Department of Labor. Following an analysis of Warner Brothers' Exhibitor Services extranet site, DecisionBuilders created a new executive information system for the studio.
